Javascript Event Delegation1 comment

Code : Manage all your page with only one event

March 5th, 2014

From the dawn of history browsers have supported event delegation.
We will use event delegation to run all our web application just with one event !

Javascript Event Delegation

If you click on an element, the event will bubble all the way up to the document in search of event handlers to execute.

Event delegation allows you to avoid adding event listeners to specific nodes, instead, the event listener is added to one parent.

That event listener analyzes bubbled events to find a match on child elements.

Minimal JavaScript Template Enginespeak

Code : Neat, Small and Nice templates with plain javascript

February 28th, 2014

"Char95 Template" is a minimal template engine for JavaScript. It maps JSON objects to DOM elements with zero configuration. Just call render().

  • Powerful and extremly simple to use.
  • Compact (1 KB!)
  • Free of external libraries, plain JavaScript, no Jquery, Zepto or any other script library required.

The normal way of delivering iconography on websites was traditionally the use of bitmap formats such as PNG. They're quick and direct, and they ensure out final results.

The use of web fonts have given us another alternative. By definition, they're scalable and resolution-independent. No need to specify higher resolution graphics for high resolution screens.

Lets see some examples:
